Knives surrender scheme

Hello all

Did you know you have a knife surrender bin in Ripon and Boroughbridge?

Some are aware as a total of 98 knives and other bladed articles have been surrendered into these. 

If you come across any bladed article legal and illegal you may post these items in a knife surrender box in your area so they can be disposed of safely. This can include kitchen knives and scissors if you are looking to get rid of yours after receiving new ones for Christmas. 

These orange knife surrender bins are located in Ripons St Mary's car park next to the bottle recycling and also in Boroughbridges Morrison's car park also next to bottle and clothes donations as you exit the car park. 

This is amnesty scheme so you do not have to give details or any information so feel free to use this to get as many knives off our streets.
